Beyond his professional life, David served as a C-130 Aircraft Commander in the National Guard for more than 21 years before retiring and has flown with American Airlines for more than 38 years, where he is a 787 Captain. Residing in Frisco, Texas with his wife Melissa, they are proud parents of two daughters and actively contribute to their community and church.
